Calculate and analyze the oxidation equilibrium of hydrogen chloride gas

 

    Based on the calculation and analysis of the oxidation equilibrium of hydrogen chloride gas, the coupled reaction-dehydration technology was proposed to be applied to the oxidation process of hydrogen chloride gas, and the simulation process of the coupled reaction-dehydration was investigated.

 

 

    The results showed that in the continuous oxidation of HCl gas, the addition of dehydration process could effectively improve the reaction conversion rate of HCl gas. The multi-step dehydration cycle was investigated under the condition of no oxygen excess, and the results showed that increasing the temperature of the secondary oxidation reaction could obviously improve the conversion rate of HCl gas, and the total conversion rate of HCl gas could reach 49.3% under the condition of 8:1 molar ratio of HCl/O2, and the volume content of oxygen in the reaction mixture was lower than 0.2%. The mixture can be directly used in the organic chlorination process.
